Impeccable service, outstanding staff, great music/movie selection for free

The location was excellent and dinner on the roof terrace is worth doing. The gym has good equipment and has nice views of the garden.
-
Very intimate, a relaxed athmosphere, good restaurant, pleasant employees, a very nice little hotel. A sence of ancient history.

My wife and I spent two weeks traveling to several cities in Europe, staying in some of the most renowned hotels such as the Plaza Athenee in Paris and the Ritz Carlton in Berlin. In terms of service, attention to detail, staff friendliness and efficiency, the Hotel Aria surpassed all others. Its prime location and excellent restaurants make it perfect for all those who want to visit Prague.

Very high standard of service and personal attention
The hotel is a bit expensive
-
Well, location was execellent, since we purposly wanted a hotel nearer to the church of the Infant Jesues. Food was excellent. Hotel was dam clearn. Very friendly staff. Resonable price. We hope to visit the Aria Hotel again in the near future.

Location was great. In general service was good. The idea of the music theme is unique. The gardens at the back of the hotel are beautiful. The view at the rooftop garden restaurant is excellent. The gym is sufficient
Stereo and DVD system could be improved in the room as it wasn't fully functional on arrival.. Poor wireless reception and only in the lobby. Euo wasps frequent the rooftop garden restaurant. Were going to eat at the rooftop garden restaurant but cancelled as we had a drink there in the afternoon and was served a curdled ice coffee by a female who made excuses but no apologies.

The staff were very welcoming, and extremely professional. An unusual feature of this hotel is the supply of an ipod for use in your room, and a large cd library with a huge range - I only looked at the classical cds as that's my interest and the selection is impressive. The hotel guests also have access to a beautiful baroque-era garden at the rear of the hotel, it's the oldest of its kind in Prague. The hotel's roof terrace provides amazing rooftop views of Prague while enjoying excellent cuisine and a well-chosen wine list.

Atmosphere +++ Intimate library with extensive collection of books relating to a great variety of musicians, composers etc complete with fireplace. Ipod, cd player and dvd in our room with extensive collection available to borrow. Artworks in communal areas. Pianist every evening. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Concierge Henry and Ivana excellent - in fact they completed our stay with their knowledge and personalities. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Each morning a different, freshly prepared strudel or cake at breakfast together with fresh yogurt etc. a very personal and personable experience at Aria - we felt as if we were guests in someone's home rather than a hotel.
It was not until day 3 that tea making facilities were offered for our room. We did not think to ask for a kettle, assuming that this was just not available. We ordered tea to our room x 3 and that is exactly what we got - a tea bag and pot of hot water. Perhaps a small biscuit or similar could also have been brought. Next time we will request a kettle to be available and then our stay will, I imagine, be perfect.

The hotel is perfectly located in the old part of town, 5 min walk to the Charles Bridge and also not far away from the castle. So, location is a big plus. It also has a roof terrace with a fabulous view (though not open all the time). The rooms were modern and you could feel the love for details everywhere. The valet parking went perfect and WiFi was available without a problem. Breakfast and staff A plus.
The price though it was New Year, but still. And the masses of tourists in Prague for which the hotel of course is not responsible. Just be aware that foreign tourists represent probably more than 70% of people in the center of Prague during some peak seasons. However, it is still a fantastic place to visit!
